San Diego CA- 5 de mayo 2025;- Una noche mágica pues es el 7 de la suerte. Se llevó el triunfo San Diego ante Colorado Rapids 2-0. San Diego lleva 7 ganados de 13 partidos. Es un equipo nuevo pues su debut fue en Feb 2025 y a demostrado que llegó para quedarse. Pues están en 2ndo lugar en la tabla general. Y la sorpresa de la noche Los Tucanes de Tijuana entre los espectadores disfrutando el partido, habrán sido el amuleto de la suerte ? Pues si lo fueron o no los integrantes de la agrupación se la pasaron muy bien.
McVey abrió el marcador en el minuto 33. Al minuto 58 Dreyer sello el triunfo anotando el gol ganador. Pero al minuto 73 anotan un penal en contra de San Diego y el héroe de la noche fue el portero CJ Dos Santos. Paró el penal de Djordje Mihailovic. Próximo partido en casa es el 17 de Mayo contra Sporting KC en Snapdragon a las 7:30 pm puertas habrén a las 5:00 pm.

McVey opened the scoring with a header into the net in the 33rd minute and Dreyer added a goal in the 58th minute to seal the win in the second meeting between clubs and SDFC’s first-ever midweek MLS match. SDFC Goalkeeper CJ Dos Santos helped keep the Club’s shutout in the 73rd minute when he blocked a penalty kick by Colorado’s Djordje Mihailovic. Next home game will be May 17 against Sporting KC at Snapdragon Stadium 7:30 pm doors open at 5:00 pm.
